FieldPulse can be used via your mobile phone or computer.
Why should I use FieldPulse?
FieldPulse is for businesses who want to improve their customer data management, job scheduling, and invoicing processes.
For example, instead of waiting to handwrite and mail out invoices, you can send an invoice for completed work in seconds at the job site or in the office with FieldPulse. All the relevant info is automatically included in the invoice; you can make any changes as needed and send directly to your customer via email, meaning you can get paid quicker. FieldPulse also knows when you’ve sent an invoice out and when it’s been paid, so you can track whether your customer has paid for the service. FieldPulse allows you to quickly schedule jobs and dispatch team members, notifying them of their newly assigned work and equipping them with all necessary information to perform the job. FieldPulse also helps you manage customer information and history including all jobs, invoices, photos, files, and comments attached to the customer profile.

FieldPulse takes protecting your information seriously. All of your FieldPulse data stays on our secure servers and is password protected by your login.
Which devices are supported?
FieldPulse is available for iPhone, iPad, Android phones, Android tablets, and computer browsers. The WebApp is accessible from any web browser. Your team members can operate on different device types; an iPhone, Android mobile phone, and WebApp users can all be on the same team.
What if I get a new phone or computer?
All FieldPulse data is housed on our secure servers. Simply logging in to FieldPulse on a new device will synchronize the new device to match your existing records, so you never need to worry about new devices.
How much does FieldPulse cost?
FieldPulse provides a 14 day free trial. After that, FieldPulse offers flexible month to month, no commitment plans to match your needs starting at $20 for the first user. Additional users begin at $5 depending on their role or free if they simply need to be assigned to jobs for management purposes. You can register through our website, where you can also manage your additional team member accounts. With FieldPulse, you only pay for the users you need and when you need them. We understand there may be periods where you require more staff and others where you may require fewer. Team members can be added, removed, and activated or deactivated as needed. Any applicable charges accrued will be prorated, so you only pay for the portion of the month that was actually used.
Can I cancel at anytime?
Yes, FieldPulse offers flexible month-to-month plans which can be cancelled at any time. The remainder of the month in question will be prorated.
My business has a complex team structure. Can we operate in teams?
FieldPulse is designed to accommodate your simple or advanced team structure. Whether you operate in multiple teams or a single team, each team can be run by a team manager with various team members under their control, with the possibility of bringing temporary subcontractors on as needed.
By offering various roles at various prices, you can finetune FieldPulse to your needs, and you’ll never pay more for a certain user than you need to with the tiered pricing structure that’s available.
I don’t have any other employees. Will I benefit from using FieldPulse?
Absolutely! As a small business or one-person operation, efficiency is of utmost importance. FieldPulse will make scheduling jobs, keeping track of your customers, and invoicing as quick and easy as possible, giving you the time to serve your customers and spend the bulk of your time on activities that bring in revenue.
What information do customer profiles manage?
Customer profiles not only allow you to store basic information such as First Name, Last Name, Company Name, Email, Phone Number, Address, and Notes, but they also store documents related to the customer such as job records, invoice records, customer comments, invoice PDFs, photos, and other files. Customer profiles show you the entire customer history and relevant files.
Can I store secondary contacts and contact methods for customer profiles?
Yes, FieldPulse allows you to add a secondary contact to both individual and company customer profiles as well as alternate phone and email addresses for the primary contact.
Can I create company customer profiles in addition to individual customer profiles?
Yes, FieldPulse allows you to specify whether the customer profile is an individual or a company, changing how the customer profile is displayed throughout the app. Both profile types still allow you to designate a primary point of contact and a secondary point of contact.
Can I assign jobs to one or more team members? Will they be notified?
Yes, FieldPulse allows you to assign jobs to any combination of team members across multiple teams. They will be automatically notified with a push notification to their phone upon being assigned to a job.
Can I attach notes and files to job records?
Yes, FieldPulse allows you to write detailed notes for the job record in addition to attaching comments, files, and photos. Supply your team members with all the necessary information to get the job done right. Field agents can also upload files and photos as well as leave comments at the job site from the FieldPulse mobile app.
Can FieldPulse tell me the location of my team members?
Yes, FieldPulse tags your team member location and timestamp when updating the status of a job record. This allows you to verify that they reached the customer job site on time and completed the job as indicated.
I don’t want certain employees to see certain financial/invoicing/billing information, can I control that?
FieldPulse offers different roles for employees depending on the functions they need access to. From Managers to Subcontractors, FieldPulse has roles with varying permissions to align with your company structure.
If you don’t want an employee to be able to see or send out invoices, they would be assigned to the Subcontractor role, which does not allow them to see financial information. FieldPulse has a tiered pricing structure for different user types. Employees that don’t require access to all features have a lower monthly price than higher-level employees, meaning you can tailor FieldPulse to your current needs and make updates at any time.
Can I send estimates/proposals/quotes in addition to invoices?
Yes, FieldPulse treats estimates and invoices as the same record type but with the ability to simply change the status from an estimate to an invoice. This allows you to create an estimate for a customer and then quickly transition the estimate to an invoice once the customer has approved the work. No need to recreate your estimate as an invoice.
Is there a way to store common invoice line items and equipment used for invoices to quick entry?
Yes, FieldPulse allows you to create “Invoice Item Templates” as a repository of your commonly used invoice line items. Store items such as labor rates, supplies, equipment, and more along with default prices, quantities, and descriptions. Create full invoices in just a few clicks.
Does FieldPulse integrate with Square Mobile Payments?
Yes, simply authenticate into your Square account via the FieldPulse invoice administration settings and you can integrate the Square Register Mobile App into your customer invoicing workflow. Simply click “Collect Payment” on your FieldPulse invoice to automatically prepare a charge for your customer in Square.
